| FOUNTAIN FESTIVAL OF ARTS & CRAFTS Official Sponsor Fort McDowell Casino November 12,13,14, 2010 Hours: 10 a.m. - 5 p.m. The Fountain Festival of Arts & Crafts features nearly 500 artists, artisans and gourmet food provisioners. Over 200,000 visitors are attracted to this event to do their holiday shopping, purchase art and enjoy good food and live entertainment. Fort McDowell Casino is the Official Sponsor of this year's festival. Many of the artists in this fair offer unique holiday themed ornaments that have become family tradition. Enjoy live music, abundant breakfast and lunch selections in shaded seating areas make this a great way to spend the day in Fountain Hills. Free Admission - Free Parking - Rain or Shine Wheelchairs & Scooters available for rent Festival Facts An ongoing tradition at the fair is the "Purple People." Over 200 volunteers wearing purple sashes are available to assist fair goers and the artists during the show. This has been a tradition for nearly 25 years. We ask as a consideration of others, to please leave your pets at home for everyone's safety and enjoyment during the fair! Directions to the Festival From the South East Valley Take 87 - (Country Club Drive) north to Shea Blvd., turn left at Shea Blvd. At the first traffic light, turn right on to Saguaro Blvd. Continue on Saguaro Blvd. to downtown and follow signs for parking. From the South West Valley Take 10 East to 202 East. Exit 202 at 87 - (Country Club Drive). Turn left at exit, heading North. Continue for approximately 12 miles to Shea Blvd. Turn left at Shea Blvd. At first traffic light, turn right to Saguaro Blvd. Continue on Saguaro Blvd. to downtown and follow signs for parking. From the North West Valley Take 101 South. Exit at Shea Blvd. East. Continue on Shea Blvd. for approximately 5 miles. Turn left to Palisades Blvd. Continue on Palisades Blvd. to downtown and follow signs for parking. |
